Easy Kid Approved Pancakes

Pancakes are such a fun breakfast. The best part, you can get creative with your pancake design and toppings. Here’s one of our favorite’s for Easter with banana’s, blueberries, and raspberries. Some of our favorite toppings include warm apple, blueberry, chocolate chips, Nutella, melted peanut butter, S’mores, marshmallow crème, and of course – FRUIT!

Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp. white sugar

  • 2 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 c. milk

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F with a heatproof platter ready to keep cooked pancakes warm in oven.

  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center, and pour in milk, egg, and oil. Mix until smooth.

  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
